Haven444-Our City, Our Story

Haven444-Our City, Our Story

There are stories all around us.

Some are told on ballfields, or across kitchen tables. Others live quietly in memory, in the spaces between generations, in the rhythm of a place that knows who it is, even as it changes.

Haven 444 was created to listen for those stories.

This is the official community podcast of Lynn Haven—but more than that, it is a gathering place. A space to hear the voices that shape this city, past and present. A place where history is not just remembered, but felt. Where the future is not just planned, but imagined together.

The name itself carries meaning.

“Haven”—a place of shelter, of belonging.

“444”—serves as a marker for our zip code - 32444, but it is also a rhythm, a sense of alignment. A reminder that sometimes we are exactly where we’re meant to be.

This podcast was built on a simple idea:

That a city is more than roads and buildings. It is people. It is memory. It is story.

In our first episode you’ll hear that story—on the baseball field, the sound of the bat connecting with the ball as generations gather to watch their loved ones play, and to catch up on the community small talk about how much the kids have grown, about the weather we're having and all the things that make living in this small city by the bay so special. You can hear it in the  voices of those who have watched Lynn Haven grow, rebuild, and reimagine itself over time.

But this is only the beginning.

Haven 444 is not just something to listen to—it’s something to be part of.

As this project grows, you’ll hear from longtime residents and new neighbors, from those who remember and those who are just beginning to discover what this place means to them.

You may hear your own story reflected here.

Or you may find yourself wanting to share it.

Because the future of Lynn Haven isn’t just being built in plans and meetings—it’s being shaped in conversations, in connections, in the stories we choose to tell and preserve.

So wherever you are—walking the bridge, sitting in the stands, driving through familiar streets—we invite you to listen a little closer.

There is something here.

And it belongs to us.

Our City, Our Story.
